WHO WE ARE
Located in the heart of the Wairarapa, at 167 Dixon Street, Masterton, The Wairarapa Boxing Academy was opened by Laurence & Channyn Titter, founders of the Wairarapa Boxing Academy & Wairarapa Youth Charitable Trust. The Wairarapa Youth Charitable Trust board members support the organisation with Frazer Mailman as Acting Chairman. Our vision is to help the youth of our community to achieve their full potential and to make a contribution to their family, friends and their community through both the sport of boxing & their 5 R Values .
The aim of Wairarapa Boxing Academy is to turn our youth into healthy respectful young adults:
- To motivate them to be the best they can be at school.
- To respect their family and friends and most of all themselves.
- To work on their attitude.
- To take control of their actions and the consequences, good and bad.
- To control their mouths.
OUR MISSION: to provide a fitness-based service for youth and their families, which challenges and expands a young person’s abilities and the perception of what hard work, dedication and values can give them, through:
- Fitness Training
- Social Interaction
- Role Modelling
